About Us

We are a New York based company with the mission of creating products that bring the joy, colors, energy and warmth of El Salvador, the land of endless summers, to the United States. As part of our mission, we hope to honor and respect the craftsmanship and traditions of local artisans, while also creating sustainable employment opportunities for them and members of their local communities. The company donates 5% of revenue to local communities in El Salvador.

The company was founded by two sisters-in-law who were born and raised in El Salvador. One lives in El Salvador with her husband and two children and the other one lives in New York with her husband and three children. After a year of being apart during the pandemic, the sisters found a way to stay connected by designing and importing their favorite native artisanal products. A close friend inspired them to bring these products into the U.S. market, with the hope of building bridges and ties between two cultures, and in the end build a stronger global community.
